NJOEM Presents Multi-Hazards Emergency Planning for Schools
Personnel Involved In School Emergencies Encouraged to Attend

The New Jersey Office of Emergency Management is providing “Multi-Hazards Emergency Planning for Schools” training sessions at their Headquarters in Hamilton July 22-23 and August 12-13. Personnel involved in responding to school emergencies are encouraged to attend. The training is free.
The course provides individuals with the knowledge, skills, and tools necessary to develop effective emergency operations plans (EOPs) for school emergencies. Topics include: planning, safety, non-structural mitigation techniques, post disaster operations, the psychological effects of disasters, and recovery.
Personnel who play a role in responding to school (e.g. administrators, school staff, elected officials, school board members, transportation coordinators, members of the emergency management community, community planners, fire personnel and law enforcement) are encouraged to attend.
Interested persons should complete the NJOEM application form and fax to 609-671-0160. Individuals will be notified of acceptance via email.
