New Jersey's Back to School Program begins September 14. New Jersey legislators make special efforts throughout the year to visit local schools and provide students with personal insights into the value of public service and the lawmaking process. State House Tours
In addition, there are exciting opportunities for students and their teachers at the New Jersey State House. The Tour Office is now accepting reservations for field trips in the 2010/2011 school year. To schedule a tour or program, call the State House Tour Office at 609-633-2709.
The maximum group size for tours is 50 (includes adults). One chaperone per 10 students is required.
Lunch accommodations are available including a space, within walking distance of the State House, for brown bag lunching. Reservations are required.
Before a visit a group receives a group schedule, map and directions to the State House and parking and entrance information. A materials order form is also provided to request free:
